As said best by the couple on their wedding website:
“An account of stubbornness, Facebook, persistence, sabbatical, determination, nature walking, perfect timing, and mere luck. Well… and love of course.”
Liz from Utah, on work in Milwaukee received a Facebook message from David. He heard of her through mutual friends the two had. Although she had her mind made up firmly about a “dating sabbatical ” she was on, he was determined to change that. Countless social gatherings later, Liz started to fall in love with David’s persistence, kindness, hiking loving self. Months of long-distance dating later, a proposal was made in Wisconsin at the location of their first real date.
We decided to shoot their engagement session at the beautiful Provo Amphitheater and Orchards. The forecast for the day was terrible (rain, wind, possibly snow, hail, you name it), and yet somehow, the clouds parted, the sunset was golden and their love was as beautiful as ever.
A fabulous July TWO-day wedding is in planning and I couldn’t be anymore excited to be there to document the affair. See you soon, my friends!
This amphitheater was the perfect backdrop for such a lovely couple.
I always joke with my couples to “look at each other and giggle.” Liz was queen of the giggle, David said he was giggling on the inside. Love the dry humor David! 😉
Liz, you are oh-so gorgeous and graceful!
