Although I have not quite finished this inspiring read, I wanted to share it with you.
Growing up, I never felt like the creative kid. In art class I would constantly ask for help on my painting from the teacher. I even took a photography class in high school that made zero sense to me at the time.
As you grow and evolve though, things start to click, you find your groove and what makes you fulfilled and truly happy. Photography does just that for me. I love it with every ounce of who and what I am, it is my expression of all things beautiful in this world.
Even at that however, finding inspiration for beauty in your craft in every day life is essential. Movies, books, people, anything that makes you want to strive for more. This book inspires that of me.
“The way of the artisan is a life in which we risk all for love. The artisan embraces the dangers that come from living an authentic life and still chooses to live unguarded from the pain of the wounds of love.
Artists love without reservation. They give their hearts completely and leave nothing on the table. They are naked and unashamed. They leave no room for pretension. And because they have given all of themselves, they live without regret. Artists are not only great storytellers, their lives tell a great story.”
Pick this one up. You’ll fall in love.
